Cellphone VS DSLR

You may wonder why anyone would pay someone to take photos when technology has given us the powerful cameras we all have in our pockets now.

Well there are several reasons I will explain.

The sensors in dedicated cameras are much larger than smartphone cameras and that means they can let in a lot more light and produce better photos, with more dynamic range, in low-light scenarios. A DSLR will also typically give you more creative control when it comes to exposure.

But thats just some of the hardware reasons.

Experience is also a major part. Do you know how to line the shot up with the foreground or background? Can you adjust the contrast and lighting for optimal results? Do you know the best way to pose someone so they look their best and not awkward? What if its low lighting and you dont just want to use flash and darken the background? What about trick shots, purposely catching movement for dramatics?Also no one important gets left out.

Cell phones are very handy and great to have, but for important events, or meaningful portraits its really best to call a professional.
